Determining Eligibility for Neuroimaging Research Studies

Trial Purpose and Description

The purpose of this study is to determine if subjects meet physical and psychological health criteria to participate in a neuroreceptor imaging study. Subject populations will include healthy nonsmokers, smokers, heavy alcohol drinkers, bipolar and uni-polar depressed, and subjects with post traumatic stress disorder.

Ages: 18 - 80 years

Gender: Both

Eligibility Criteria

General Inclusion Criteria: 1. Men and women, aged 18-65 years 2. Able to read and write English and give voluntary written informed consent 

Tobacco Smokers 1. Have a Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) rating of at least 3. 2. Have been using at least 5 cigarettes per day for at least 1 year
